Laptop Upgrade

Post by GeneSC » Wed Aug 21, 2019 3:48 pm

 My laptop just started upgrading one day this week and it took about 2 hours!!!! NOW I can't find anything!! I used to click on the little windows icon in the bottom left of the screen to
reboot, fool with my internet connections, and a number of other things, but now it has too much stuff on it and I can't find where my internet connection is. Is there any way to reset it to a time BEFORE the upgrade??? I Really don't like the new window page??
Thanks, Gene

I assume you have windows 10 if not disregard. At some point updates moved the power and settings to a bar on the left side of the start menu. You should see the power icon at the very bottom and the settings icon directly above it. Another way to reach these items is to right click instead of left click on the windows icon. To clean up your start menu go to settings, personalization, start. Hope this helps.
