Head Honcho bought me a Captel phone. It works ok through my Verizon WiFi but is slow.
That is because this old brain of mine is slowing down.
When I was on Chemo, They kept asking me if I fall a lot. There has been only a couple
of times I actually hit the ground but I stager and stumble a lot. Balance is controlled by
the inner ear. I can hear sounds but can not understand voices. It get very frustrating
and embarrassing. I had a hearing test, I tried hearing aids but they did not help.
They told me my problem is in my inner ears and nothing can be done about it.
I have been looking at small SD recorders and have been wondering if there is a
program for computers that will convert voice recording to written text similar to what
the captel does. Does anyone know?
