readers for text

I thought I would give the 'readaloud' app a try today but it was splitting words apart so the words were read incorrectly.

Can anyone recommend a free text-to-speech app for windows 10? Alternatively, I don't mind paying as long as there is a free trial and I can get a taste of the programme before committing myself. I'm using windows 10 on a Lenovo G50. Thanks! :smt006

The only experience I have with text to voice is with a couple of free Android apps that I used for some weeks when I lost my voice last year. They all sounded funny but at least I could "say" something.
I'd suggest to find a couple by searching and test the apps. From what I see in Google, ReadAloud gets good reviews but I realize that doesn't help you.
