As usual, you're welcome.

Glad to see that hurricane is weakening for you guys. There was one down south by Mexico and we even got clouds from it way up here, but of course nothing else.

We do have fires though!!!! :(

Yeah, we read about the fires and the evacuations. I understand that the fire closest to you, the Petersburg fire, is under control or even extinguished? Are there any other fires in the area that might be dangerous for you?

No, so far, none of the fires are close to me. The Petersburg fire is about out at 215 acres. However, a little more north, and now has moved into Oregon is the Klamathon Fire which has grown to 30,500 acres and is only 25% contained. Again, no fires real close to me.
Problem is the weather, 100°+ temps everyday and very low humidity. And, some very stupid people! On my weekly trip to town I passed two areas on both sides of the highway that were burned. Looks like both were started from the shoulder of the road which would indicate the cause to be something flammable tossed from passing vehicles .... i.e. lit cigarettes.

Here's a couple of pics of the fire from the highway headed north to Oregon.

And here's an unlucky Firefighter.

Even the fire hoses aren't safe!
